Terms of use

The tools give general information. Results about money, health, law or safety are not professional advice and do not take your personal situation into account.

We check the calculations against published reference values, but we cannot guarantee that every result is correct, complete or up to date. Check anything important before you rely on it, and ask a professional where it matters.

The site is free to use, also through AI agents, as described in the AI agent access statement. Automated use must stay within the usage limits; we may limit excessive traffic.

The site's API is private and serves only the site's own pages. Direct use of the server is not allowed, except for the MCP server at /mcp within its usage limits.

Use the website checks only for ordinary checks of public addresses. Do not use the site to attack, overload or probe systems, to get around its limits, or for anything unlawful.

The site is funded by advertising. Ads come from Google and other advertisers, who are responsible for their content.

The site is provided as it is, free of charge. We may change or remove tools, and the site may be unavailable at times.

We are not liable for losses that result from relying on a result or from the site being unavailable. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.

These terms are governed by the law of Finland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.

Some results use public data from these sources. Some of the data is included with the site; the rest our server updates from the source regularly:

Most icons come from Lucide (ISC License; some drawn after Feather, MIT License).

IP geolocation by DB-IP. DB-IP Lite City and ASN data are used under CC BY 4.0. Locations are approximate and can be wrong or outdated; a network organisation is not necessarily your internet retailer. The tool shows only your own connection and cannot locate another person.

Questions about these terms are welcome by email: contact@how.box
