How to use
- Pick one or more tables from 1 to 9, then select Start practice.
- Type your answer or use the number keypad, then select ✓ or press Enter. You can try once more after a miss.
- The game moves on after a correct answer or two tries. See your first-try score and stars, then select Play again.
How it works
Multiplication counts equal groups. If each group has the same number of objects, you can multiply the number of groups by the number in each group.
Three groups of four make twelve: 3 × 4 = 12. The numbers 3 and 4 are called factors; the answer 12 is the product (OpenStax, Prealgebra 2e, section 1.4).
Each selected table is multiplied by 1 through 10, once per round in random order. Four tables make 40 questions. Your score counts answers you get right on the first try; there is no time limit. Changing tables or reloading starts fresh.
Frequently asked questions
Which numbers will I practise?
Each selected table has 10 questions, multiplying it by 1 through 10. All questions are mixed together in random order.
Can I choose a table?
Yes. Switch tables 1–9 on or off. Keep at least one selected; the default is 2, 3, 4 and 5.
What if my answer is wrong?
Try once more. After a second miss, you see the right answer briefly and move on. Only first-try correct answers earn points; a miss resets your streak.
Is there a time limit?
No. Take as long as you need. There are no speed scores or rankings.
Does it remember my progress?
Answers and scores stay only while this page is open. Reloading clears them. A shared link keeps just your selected tables.
Are there any ads?
No. This practice and the kids category are always free of ads.
