Vendor release data

Vendor release data

This compares reported versions with vendor releases, not security fixes or vehicle update eligibility. ESR and staged rollouts may differ.

Reported values can be rounded, hidden or spoofed. API presence does not promise permission or successful use.

How to use

  1. Open this page on the device you want to inspect.
  2. Read the reported browser and expand a section for details.
  3. Open the Chrome or Tesla view to compare Chromium releases.

How it works

Your browser reports its identity through a user-agent string and, where available, client hints. Full version hints take priority; a string ending in 0.0.0 may reveal only the major version. Other sections show the capabilities this page can read without asking permission.

Update comparisons use official vendor release feeds. Versions are compared number by number: 120.10 is later than 120.9. The major-version gap is the current major minus your major, with a minimum of zero. Release-date gaps use the earliest Chrome serving dates available for both majors, divided by an average month.

A browser may hide its brand, reduce device details or report another browser for compatibility. An unidentified Chromium browser might be a private derivative. Screen dimensions are CSS pixels, storage estimates concern this website, and media results describe fixed sample formats. None of these readings proves hardware performance or security.

Worked example

How far behind is major 120 when stable is 125?

  1. Subtract the reported major from the stable major: 125 − 120 = 5.

The example is 5 major versions behind. Matching majors alone cannot establish patch currency.

Frequently asked questions

Does this page upload my device report?

No. Device facts remain in this page. Only public vendor release data is requested from the server.

Why is my browser identified as Chromium?

Some browsers hide their own brand. Without a distinct signal, this page cannot reliably tell them apart.

Why is the version incomplete?

Privacy settings and reduced user-agent strings can conceal patch numbers. Full client hints may also be withheld.

Does a current version mean my browser is secure?

No. This is a release comparison, not a security audit or a check of installed fixes.

Why are some fields unavailable?

The API may be unsupported, blocked, withheld or slow to respond. Unavailable does not mean the hardware lacks the feature.
