How to use
- Open the page: your own time and a few big cities are already on the board.
- Add a place or time zone, then move or remove the ones you do not need.
- Read each clock: the time, the date, the offset from UTC, how far it is from your time, and whether it is day or night there.
- Copy the address to share your list, or use full screen to show the board on a wall or a second screen.
How it works
A time zone is a region that keeps the same clock time. Each zone sits a fixed number of hours from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), its offset, and many shift by an hour in summer for daylight saving time. The clocks here take the current moment and add each zone's offset at that moment, so the change of season is always right.
Example: when it is 12:00 UTC, London in October is on UTC+1 and shows 13:00, New York on UTC−4 shows 08:00 and Tokyo on UTC+9 shows 21:00. The difference to your time is simply the two offsets subtracted. Offsets come from the IANA time zone database that your browser carries.
Day and night is a clock-hour rule: from 07:00 to 19:59 is day, the rest is night. It is a hint for calling someone, not the Sun's position. The time is read from this device's clock, which can be a few seconds off.

How do I share my list of cities?
Copy the address of the page. The list of places is in the address, so whoever opens it sees the same clocks. Nothing is stored.
Why does the difference to my time change during the year?
Countries move their clocks on different dates, or not at all. For a few weeks the gap between two places can be an hour larger or smaller than usual.
Can I see the time at a moment other than now?
Yes. Type a moment in UTC, for example 2026-10-16T12:00, and every clock shows what the time is then. Leave it empty for the live clocks.
Which places can I add?
Any time zone from the IANA list, named by its main city, such as Kolkata, Sao Paulo or Auckland. The list is for time zones, not every town.
Does the night label mean the Sun has set?
No. It marks clock hours outside 07:00–19:59, not actual sunrise or sunset.
